Our most recent McDonald’s Moms’ Quality Correspondents trip focused on McDonald’s commitment to families and the shared family moments provided through McDonald’s partnerships.
On this trip the Moms visited The Marketing Store in Chicago to see first-hand how an idea for a McDonald’s Happy Meal Toy comes to life. They learned about the history of the Happy Meal Toy and McDonald’s commitment to toy safety. At The Marketing Store, the Moms had the opportunity to see how the movie Shrek inspired McDonald’s latest Happy Meal Toys. After this visit Naomi was amazed to learn that "it was only in 1994 when the very first Happy Meal was introduced to Canada."
Following their trip to The Marketing Store, the Moms had the opportunity to visit the DreamWorks Animation Studio in Glendale, CA to see first-hand how a successful partnership translates into a Happy Meal Toy in-restaurant that families will love. And finally, after seeing how the toys were inspired by the film, the Moms got a sneak preview of the forth and final installment of the Shrek franchise, Shrek: Forever After.
